More gradients

More and more, gradients seem to be my go-to polish/application style of choice, when I'm fresh out of ideas or energy. It's just cool.

I think perhaps I shall henceforth be known as Gradient Girl!

Ok so that's a really stupid idea. I still like 'em, though.

What Is this Color?!?

I saw this color in on a page with just a ton of other pictures of nail art, and I *love* it. And I have no clue on earth who makes it, or what it's called. If anyone has any idea what this polish is, please let me know.

Must. Find. Awesome. Holographic. Sparkly. Polish.
Must.

Folk Art Nails

There's just something fun about crossover art.

Craft designs normally found on a hand-painted birdhouse, now on nails

Tips & Toes

My very first "paying customer"! I did mani/pedis for my aunt and cousin (previous post), and had a generous and unprompted tip. I still think it was a sweet though unnecessary gift after several hours of general gossip and chit-chat that also happened to include my getting to play with polish & paint.

Pretty pink and white flowers coordinate well with the toes. The lower picture gives a better shot of the flower colors, as the upper washes out the pink.

Glittery goodness

Got to have a lot of fun with being "nail art small picture lady" today :) For the first time, I did nails for someone who got the 'crazy' design on the hands, and the simple shimmer on the toes. And she absolutely loved them.

I love doing cherry blossoms. Flirty, feminine, and fun. And oh so pretty, too. Hit the tops of the petals with a touch of Glam Rock by Inaz for some extra sparkle.

I was given free reign for the toes, and chose a combination I had on myself last week, Sally Hansen's Rose-A-Go-Go insta-dry which I found on clearance for $0.18 at CVS *score!*, and topped it with S.H. Strobe Light. Very pretty shimmery pink, and they just pop in the sun.

Going Dotty

It's a new thing. And it's popular for a reason. Dots are fun. And easy. And you can make them match absolutely anything. Or, if you're in the mood I am - match absolutely nothing ;)
